Kim is Fighting the Odds Against Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Hi my name is Craig and I am helping my wife Kimberly, beat brain cancer.
In March of 2021 Kim was diagnosed with a high-grade Glioblastoma (GBM is the most aggressive and common brain cancer with a life expectancy of 14 to 16 months). They immediately performed brain surgery followed by radiation and chemo. We were told that there is no cure for this and that they will help us manage it the best they can.
Remarkably, Kim responded very well to this “Standard of Care” 14-month treatment and for awhile the cancer was not showing up on MRIs. The doctors were very happy with these results. We thought that maybe we were the one in a million that could survive this.
Unfortunately, in April of 2024 the nightmare returned, they found a clementine sized tumor on the front right side of her brain. They operated again, got as much out as they could and left Kim in a very weakened state. For awhile she could not walk at all.
UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Knowing that this is going to kill her if we don’t figure something out and fast, I got started on some research while she was still in the ICU post surgery. Kim’s dad had mentioned a Dr. Seyfried (Boston College) to me and his cancer research, so that is where I got started.
I’ve read his 900 page book, watched his lectures and found out that there are some research groups and clinics putting his work into practice, with lots of focus on GBMs.
We have reached out and consulted with these groups. Now we are on a journey to beat this and hopefully help many others along the way.
I have currently stopped working and we are fighting this full time.
The action that is recommended and seems to be working is a combination of diet, off label drugs and the use of Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber Therapy (HBOT). She has made great progress and is able to walk now with a cane, we even walked around the block the other day! Her MRI’s have shown little to no tumor progression which is great news.
We drive from Windsor Ontario into Michigan on most weekdays for HBOT treatments. This treatment is not locally available in Windsor, only in the GTA if we stayed in Ontario.
All of these drugs and treatments are paid for out of pocket, are very time consuming and are very expensive.
Our goal here is to raise money to help cover the cost of some of the drugs. The drugs are infinitely more expensive than I could ever imagine.
Also, the cost of HBOT is very expensive. We are hoping to purchase one of these cambers at some point to continue Kim’s HBOT treatments at home and possibly help others within our community.

Thank you everyone for your help. Together we can make a difference not just in Kim’s life but in many others that have had cancer touch their lives. The therapies we are implementing should be available to everyone. Many people with serious incurable cancers have greatly improved their quality of life with this and our “drug company driven health care system” needs to take note. The only way to do this is to survive with or without their help. Please help Kimberly survive and make this happen. Thank you.
