Through no fault of his own Kim randomly contracted a life-threatening disease: Necrotizing fasciitis. Also known as flesh-eating disease, this disease spreads throughout the body destroying flesh. The primary method of treatment is amputation. As a result of the amputations, Kim is in a terrible state currently in hospital ICU with a long road to recovery.

Kim's a great guy and father. He has worked in the 155 for over 20 years, helped to feed many of us or vouched for our union recommendations, and he stuck up for the little guy. - I would know (=
