Hello, as many of you already know on September 3rd a driver fell asleep behind the wheel on the 14 freeway during rush hour traffic resulting in my brother and some of his family being airlifted to multiple hospitals. Mother Kim, her two kids, Hailey (13), Gavin (8), and stepfather Jason were airlifted to Northridge Hospital where Kim and Jason were treated for their injuries and released. Gavin spent many nights in the hospital as his injuries required monitoring. Gavin has since been released and is resting at his fathers house. Hailey has been transferred to UCLA due to the severity of her injuries. At the young age of only 13 Hailey has suffered a traumatic brain injury, a minor stroke, a dislocated hip, and a broken jaw. The medical team is optimistic. However, this is a long process and she is not out of the woods. 

The family would first like to say thank you to those who rushed to the aid of the accident, and for all the prayers offered to add healing to the victims. This is an incredibly difficult time for the family. At this time the family is asking for prayers, and positive affirmations.
