Kim Frisella's Sendoff
Donation protected
To those taking a moment to read our fundraiser, thank you for your time, thoughts, prayers, and support. My name is Ryan Frisella and I'm Kim's son.
My mother passed away from unexpected complications related to her ongoing medical condition on Thanksgiving, but not before getting to spend one more holiday with our family. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions, planning, and supporting each other with moving onward together. Thank you everyone for the love.
Unfortunately, due to my mom's medical condition, her last few years were consumed with taking care of herself and her living costs associated with her diagnosis. As a result, she was unable to financially secure her last arrangements before her untimely passing, and our family is banding together to honor her wishes and memory with her final send-off.
We are humbly, graciously requesting to those that are able to give, for them to help cover our memorial service costs so we can send Kim off in the best way we're able. Our family has endured great loss over the past few years, but we understand everyone has endured their own losses as well, and we extend our deepest love, gratitude, sympathy, and support to all of our loved ones.
Thank you again to those that have reached out with support, love, and memories to help us all persevere through these tough times. My mom would love all the love she's been shown, and she'd want anyone reading this today to go show some extra love to the special women in their life.

Kimberly Ann Frisella (Doran), 53, of Narragansett, RI passed away Thursday, November 23rd, 2023. She was the beloved mother of Ryan Frisella and Jordan Frisella, and former wife of Frank A. Frisella. Born and raised in South Kingstown, RI, Kim was the daughter of Doug Doran and Roberta Winter.
Kim grew up in South Kingstown and Narragansett, and treasured her memories from living in Hawaii during her younger years. She graduated from South Kingstown High School, and worked for the South County Independent, Buckley Heating & Co, and MetLife during her early career.
Kim loved crafts and nature decorations, just ask her kids when she would drag them to the woods to get stuff for garland and wreaths…and always had an open invite for anyone who wanted to join. She was an incredible cook, loved to dance, and loved learning new things.
Some of her favorite joys were waking up before the sunrise, reading a great book, playing with animals, barefoot walks down to the river, and enjoying a good belly laugh. Her favorite times of the year were Christmas Eve at Gran’s house, and holiday brunches with the family at Jackie & Dan’s.
Kim is survived by her children, Ryan & Jordan, and her parents, Doug and Roberta. She is also survived by her grandmother, Mary Norman, her siblings, Kyle, Kaley, and Jessica, and 5 nieces & nephews. She also leaves behind her grand-dogs, Teller and Charlie Chip, who miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8th from 4-6pm, with a closing prayer at 6 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI. In lieu of flowers, our family is raising money to cover the costs of the memorial services. Any excess money will be donated to the Johnnycake Center of Wakefield, RI.
Kim - We love you!
