As many of you may know or have heard, Kimesia “Kim” Crawford has been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma Cancer. This type of Cancer is very rare for someone her age. The tumor is located at the junction of the esophagus and the stomach, so it is very painful to impossible to eat or drink. She continuously receives medicine 24 hours a day, as a result. Because of this illness, we are traveling back and forth to Houston for medical treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center. This is a definite hardship because, as you know, Kim is a mother of a 16 year old, a 12 year old, and also a 7 year little girl who has cerebral palsy. As you can probably imagine, this sudden diagnosis and round the clock care makes it very difficult for her and her significant other to take care of the needs, financial responsibilities and travel expenses for their family.
