Kim and Dennis Need Our Support

On Friday, February 5, 2021 Dennis Bowes and Kim Arsenault were getting ready for date night when their lives were tragically changed.  Kim was in the middle of supper prep when she heard an explosion and saw massive amounts of black smoke.  She ran outside in her bare feet to see Dennis on fire and rolling in the gravel.  She got him to a smow bank which didn't put out the fire.  They got into the house while he was still engulfed in flames and into the shower.  Because it was so cold out Dennis was unfortunately dressed in layers, which made it even harder to get the burning clothes off of him.  Dennis was rushed to hospital and has been in the burn unit since then.

Dennis' healing process has been anything but positive.  He has had more set backs than any person  should have to endure.  He has battled infection after infection, not to mention the unbearable pain.  Last week they were so happy as he stood for the first time in almost 7 weeks.  Since then he has contracted MRSA which is taking a devastating toll on his body.  Dennis now has a chest tube to drain the fluid from around his lungs.

All of us who know Kim and Dennis know that they have two of the biggest hearts of gold.  They are always there to help everyone and anyone without having to be asked.  It is now time for us to help them.  The last thing they need right now is to think or worry about finances.  Kim is the only one with an income right now and their expenses have certainly gone up.   The gas and parking fees going to the city every day to be with Dennis in the hospital is an astronomical expense.  And the expenses will get a lot higher when Dennis comes home.
