I’m Carrie and I am desperately trying to save my children’s dog, Kilo.

A few months ago he had a surgery that cost us $4,000; and just when we thought life was back to normal, we came home today to find him deathly sick.

He has now been diagnosed with a splenic lesion and is internally bleeding.

We will do anything to save him, but it’s very expensive for his emergency care.

Tonight we were faced with two options, the first to take him home and try to keep him comfortable while he passes away. The second, to aggressively give blood transfusions and check labs and imaging and supportive care while we await the labs to determine the prognosis, which leaves him in the emergency hospital overnight a couple of nights.

Following surgery, should he be able to undergo the procedure, he will spend several more days in the hospital.

The fees are astronomical. I promised my kids we would do everything to save him.
