Our son is 29 with no illnesses and a very vibrant and jovial man. Killian is a chef and creates the most amazing meals, along with his humor and personality, family, friends, customers and people that he passes on the street, just love him to death. Killian has unfortunately contracted the Covid-19 Delta variant and is in critical condition. He kept putting off getting vaccinated, he is the king of procrastination unfortunately. According to the doctor he is in very good health..aside from covid. The ICU is currently full of covid patients, all unvaccinated, including our son. He has been on a ventilator since the 3rd of September with no improvement.

He needs to be transported to Washington State so that they can put him on an ECMO machine (Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation). This is his best hope for recovery and survival. His recovery will be long and strenuous along with heavy medical bills. He is struggling to survive and the family can only offer prayers. Our son, just a positive and bright light deserves the opportunity to survive and live a long life. This is the best way we can think of to help him battle this deadly disease. Currently, the only way we can communicate with him is through facetime, courtesy of the amazing staff at Matsu Regional, in Alaska. No one should have to only be able to see their child through facetime. His father is retired military and his mother is a frontline Covid nurse, they just do not have the income or savings to handle all the financial pressures that have now engulfed the family. Any and all help to support our son will be greatly appreciated.
