Alex and I are climbing Kilimanjaro from 5th - 11th October this year and have decided to fundraise for Cancer research UK.
Not originally intending to do it for charity reasons, we had a change of heart when sadly Alex gran passed away on 14th June. Margaret was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, an amazing friend and a truly warm and affectionate woman.
Alex shared a special bond with his gran, and she treated me like family from the moment I met her. She battled cancer for many years and yet continued to put other before herself everyday. For this reason we have decided to complete this challenge in her honour, and hopefully raise some money for Cancer Research UK aswell!
