In August I am headed to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with my dear friend Char. I decided this would be a great opportunity to raise awareness and money for young women who have experienced domestic violence or abuse. I am partnering with the Jenessee Center, through my women's empowerment organization I Am Now Me to mentor and support these young women.

The money will go specifically toward providing these women with food, clothes, basic hygiene items, counseling, and education.

Contributions will also go toward funding an event for the women at Jenesee during Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, where we will bring in speakers to further encourage and support them in their growth and recovery.
