Kil Ja Shin

Hi, my name is Monica and I am fundraising in support for my cousin, Elizabeth Sun Shin as we prepare for her mom, Kil Ja Shin's funeral after her unexpected passing.

My aunt was funny, personable, friendly, and a true YOLO'er. She taught me how to go crab fishing, be unafraid to be yourself, be kind to others, and how much she loved her children and even me and my sister, her bonus kids every other summer.

And it is unfortunate, that she could only share one life with us but the love she extended to family, friends, acquaintances (although, you did not stay an acquaintance long), and strangers will long extend for years/decades to come.

But most importantly, she loved Jesus and as He commanded, she loved others. We rejoice that she is with our heavenly Father, Jesus the son, the Holy Spirit, angels, and saints in peace, no more pain, consequence-free food, and most important, her parents and brother and friends who have preceded her in death.

When asked what happens when we die, Keanu Reeves said "The people who love us will miss us." And that is 100% true. We will miss you Gomo (aunt).
