Kiku's Cancer Treatment

Hi everyone-

my dog Kiku was diagnosed with an uncommon form of cancer in August, a plasmacytoma located underneath her right canine in her mouth. After receiving the diagnosis, I was referred to take her to a specialized oral surgeon at Dog and Cat Dentist in Culver City to have the mass removed. We were so lucky to receive an early appointment with the practice, and went ahead last week on 9/21 with the surgery. Kiku is recovering now, and showing amazing improvement! We are now awaiting results from the pathologist, and are hopeful for a cancer-free result.

My vet has also referred me to an oncologist at the Veterinary Cancer Group of Los Angeles, to follow up with an abdominal ultrasound to check for spread of any cancer.

I am Kiku's steward in this life, and am dedicated to taking care of her health as best I possibly can. I've estimated the total of this gofundme to help pay off the exceptional bill from her oral surgery, and if possible, the future bill from her oncologist.

I received such an outpouring of love and support from family and friends in this time- and it has given me so much hope for a positive outcome at the end of this all.
