Kristin ‘Kiki’ was just recently diagnosed at the young age of 36 with an extremely rare and aggressive stage 4 cervical cancer (large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma). She has been given news that she is terminal and will need to start aggressive chemotherapy and radiation. Her treatments are not a cure but are supposed to help buy her a little extra time and help alleviate some of the severe and painful symptoms that go along with this diagnosis. 
     Kristin lives at home with her husband, Josh, and her 11 year old autistic son, Joseph. Kristin and Josh both work very hard and use every dollar they earn to pay their monthly expenses, with very little extra to depend on. The oncologists officially took Kristin out of work last week, and all of the expense load has been placed on Josh, who is trying to keep their family afloat on his single minimum waged income. 
     Kristin’s family has stepped in and have been assisting some financially but this is not even putting a dent in the expenses that have been unexpectedly popping up and are likely to continue adding on as time goes on.
     This Go Fund Me page has been started by Summer (Kristin’s sister) in hopes that we can take away some of the financial burden that this horrific situation has created. The donations will go directly to a separate bank account under Summer’s name and funds will be used for Kristin and Josh’s bills and daily living expenses and any extras will be set aside for Joseph.
