Rotate! Hi, I'm a newbie volleyball parent at Kent Island High School (KIHS), along with other parents, we are trying to get the Freshman, JV, & Varsity program additional COACHING!  The THREE! teams only have TWO overworked but dedicated coaches (not fair to these hard working guys).  The KIHS Volleyball program has BLOWN UP over the past year thanks to the QACPS Partnering for Youth Middle School program and local club volleyball opportunities. This year over 70 young women tried out for the volleyball teams which is awesome! The KIHS athletic department would love to keep the momentum going and continue to grow the volleyball program, but without an additional coach that may not be possible.  In the past the school did not have to cut players, but this year over 70  young ladies tried out for the teams, unless we can get some help to keep all three teams, dozens of high school FRESHMAN may not get a chance to compete in this wonderful sport  next year, and will start their high school experience with a major disappointment.  Other Sports at KIHS have the funding to hire at least one coach and one assistant for each team, KIHS has only two coaches for ALL THREE TEAMS.  Your donation will mean SO MUCH for these young ladies, please donate NOW so we can work to get another Coach in place...all donations (up to $1,000) will be matched by a local business owner!!!  We are so grateful for your donation and can assure you that 100% (after GoFundMe fee) will go to helping the players get better.  The funds from this campaign are controlled by the Head Volleyball Coach.  THANK YOU SO MUCH.
