Hey, I'm Kier (He/him/they). Some of you may have known me for a long time, while some are newer friends I've met since my transition started in 2022. Some of you may have no idea who I am but, regardless, if you're on this page then I appreciate you. I've been on gender affirming care (HRT) for just over a year and am turning 26 soon with the hope of getting top surgery to take another step into feeling more myself. The likely treatment will be a keyhole or peri-areolar incision, mainly because I have been blessed with a small enough chest to undertake a less invasive (and thus, less expensive) form of top surgery. The average cost in the UK for "top surgery" is between £5,000-£10,000, however keyhole or peri-areolar is around £8,000. With hard work and saving I am doing the most to put towards right now but I could never afford it without your help... You don't have to be too generous, and I can't believe I'm even asking this, but I would appreciate even a couple of quid towards such a life changing opportunity.
