Meet Kierra Kane, a very special 12 yr old who has recently been diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia. For the past 5 months, Kierra travels to Sick Kids in Toronto for weekly blood transfusions (sometimes twice a week) & has recently started 3 medication treatments.
Kierra needs a Bone Marrow Transplant.
Fortunately, her team at Sick Kids have found a donor! Over the next few weeks, Kierra will undergo many tests & chemotherapy prior to her transplant scheduled in December.
Kierra's favourite activity is belonging to Cheer Pride All Stars in Barrie, who have been very supportive of her health issues.
Over the next few months, the Kane's will have to focus on getting their daughter well again.
Please help us ease the burden & worry that comes with travel expenses, medications & other expenses that come their way.
