Kierra Chae Reed Funeral Fund

Kierra was born on November 13 and she was 25 years of age. As you can see from the photos she was an amazing soul with a beautiful heart, full of personality, sass and a passion for social justice. She was truly a gift from God. It is hard to believe she is no longer with us spreading joy and love through friends, family and even strangers blessing them with her smile.

Kierra recently passed away suddenly on Sunday December 5th and has left a trail of devastation and despair. She leaves behind a hardworking single mother Darnesha Reed and Kierra joins her father in heaven Stonechild (Stoney) Chiefstick a member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe in Montanta who was shot by Pouslbo's policy during a 4th of July celebration. He was killed through "unnecessary force" on July 3, 2019. This was devastating news to Kierra since she was always daddy's little girl and the incident incited her to speak up against a justice system that has failed her and many communities of color. In her words: "There's undeniable evidence being streamed in front of your eyes of these injustices. As long as there is oppression we have yet to be equal".

Through this traumatic experience she tried to remain positive and was hoping to find healing within herself and find forgiveness making sure the things that happened in her life would not define her future. She was always ahead of her time and now they are both in heaven with god looking down upon us protecting us.

The last time I had the privilege to see her was during a protest against police brutality in memory of George Floyd. That was the last picture she took of us together. If you know me well you know Kierra meant the world to me and she was just like a daughter to me.

We are all devastated by her sudden passing and the family is not financially prepared for this unexpected loss. We want to help Kierra's family on this journey home and ask for your help. If you could please donate anything you can or share this post with your network. Thank you for everyone for your kind words and support during this very difficult time, specially around the holidays.
