Help Kieren get elected to Mid Suffolk District Council

I am seeking election to Mid Suffolk District Council.

As residents will be aware this election is due to the very sad passing of the previous District Councillor, I wish to offer my sincere condolences to Rachel's family and friends, Rachel is a very hard act to follow under the worst of circumstances.

I have been selected by the Conservative Party to represent conservative values and principles, it is through those I will fight hard to get Mid Suffolk council to not implement the 3 weekly bin collection policy they are currently insistent on applying. I will use my voice to stand up for farmers against the governments insistence on implementing the Inheritance Tax and cuts to subsidies. I will lobby against the pylons coming through the heart of our community, as well as fight to ensure that roads in our local area are fit for purpose and properly maintained. If elected I will utilise the locality budget to help improve play parks and to help rejuvenate pride in the beautiful villages of Haughley, Stowupland and Wetherden. With housing targets being increased in Mid Suffolk, I will lobby to make sure that these houses are built in the right areas and not causing our villages to swell beyond their capacity.

The Green Party has ruined the districts finances, supported vanity projects that have no real community benefit and has seen one of the worst democratic records to hit our area. I will work hard to hold them to account, and make sure that our communities voices are heard and listened to.

I wish to give members and my supporters the opportunity to support me by raising the funding for my literature and other campaign materials.

I have applied certain guidelines and rules for my donations as follows:

1. A maximum donation of £200 from any one person. I want all to feel they can help without a few dominating the contribution base.

2. Donations will only be accepted from individuals who are 18 years and above, resident in the UK and on the electoral register.

3 All donors will have their names and locations published on my election returns, to ensure I comply with all the laws and regulations that apply. An example of the return will be "Mrs Smith - Haugley", so as not to display full address.

Any funding raised above my target of £2000 will be donated to The Trussell Trust - Waveney Valley Foodbank.
