Kiera's Kitten Cheddar Needs Help to Survive FIP
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
I will start by saying a Go Fund Me is not something I have ever done before, and asking others to help us is not usually my way. So I thank you all in advance for any help you can donate to this cause, a very sad situation, but we can fight for Cheddar's life with support.
My daughter Kiera adopted the sweetest little kitten boy from the local rescue that fosters cats in need of a good home. Cheddar is his name, and he is so happy to be here. He loves sitting on his cat trees, watching birds out the window, playing with our dog like they were littermates and snuggling up with Kiera at bedtime....the perfect sweet loving boy.
Last night after a few stressful nights, he was diagnosed with wet Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). This devastatingly fatal disease ravages cats and ends their life very quickly and uncomfortably if not treated.
FIP can be beat!
Cheddar still has a good chance of being cured for life if we start treatment immediately. FIP can be fought with an 85% success rate with an 84-day treatment. The treatment is very costly, but we refuse to give up on his sweet life. We are committed to beating this.
Kiera cannot lose Cheddar. She was in love the moment she saw his picture and didn't want to look at another kitten in the rescue; she knew he was her boy. After adopting him, she told me that she could not go to college without him years from now, and he is her baby. They are super attached.
The treatment bills will be very costly, so if there is anything you could find it in your heart to contribute, every dollar matters to help us save Kiera's baby boy. We will be so thankful to anyone who can help us beat FIP and keep Cheddar home.
Thank you so much
