Hello! My name is Kieran, I am 20 years old, and my pronouns are he/him. I'm an artist based in Los Angeles, where I study Animations full-time. Some of my favorite things to do is play video games, talk to my friends on Discord, and paint.

I have been out as trans for over five years. I have been on hormones since 2020 and I've known that the next step in my transition is to get top surgery. I started binding when I was around 14 years old. Binding is not a comfortable experience and can cause long-term health issues. Top surgery would greatly improve my life and mental well-being.

My surgery is scheduled for July 2023 in San Franciso. Thankfully, insurance can cover a good portion of the costs, but the remaining out-of-pocket fees as well as lodging, gas and time that my Mom has to take off from work to care for me adds up.

I am eternally grateful for the people in my life who have been with me throughout my transition and those supporting me through surgery.

Hello! I am a very proud mother of this beautiful being, my son Kieran. I will always be his biggest advocate. Being transgender is not something that happens overnight. As I reflect on his early childhood, I have observed certain "clues." And, it became much more clear as he reached his teenage years.

I made sure that Kieran received counseling, peer support and Gender Affirming care, such as hormone replacement therapy, while we were living in Idaho.

Now Kieran is attending college full-time in California.

Gender-affirming healthcare practices have been demonstrated to yield lower rates of mental health issues, build self-esteem, and improve an individual's overall quality of life.

I will be taking off a few weeks from work to accompany Kieran to San Francisco. We will be staying there for 9 nights before driving back to Los Angeles. I plan to remain in Los Angeles for a couple more weeks to continue assisting Kieran with his recovery. All donations will go towards the out-of-pocket medical bills, lodging, gas and food.

I want nothing more than for Kieran to be happy and live his true, authentic life.
