Kiera Johnson Chafin passed away on December 15, 2016 as a result of domestic violence. Kiera was a beautiful light in many people's lives. Kiera loved to paint and was a very talented and accomplished double bass player during her years at Kirkwood High School. Most importantly, however, Kiera was a phenomenal mother who would have done anything for her 2-year-old and 9-month-old sons.

Since Kiera's passing, her family has taken responsibility of her two young boys. As one can imagine, there are many expenses that the Johnson family will now incur in caring for the children. To lessen their hardship, we are asking for donations that the Johnson family will use to support Kiera's sons. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

This effort was created by Nick Jones and Malena Smith, two classmates who grew up with Kiera and loved and greatly respected her.
