I am an autistic transgender woman who lost my job as a federal contractor during the October 2025 government shutdown. After more than eight months of unemployment, I was finally able to secure a new job starting on July 26, 2026.

Unfortunately, the months without income have left me thousands of dollars in debt. I have overdue credit card bills, back rent, and I'm struggling to afford essential medications, including my HRT and medication for Type 2 diabetes. While I am incredibly grateful to be working again, nearly all of my income will be going toward rent and paying down overdue bills so I can keep a roof over my head and avoid legal action from debt collectors.

I'm asking for financial assistance to help cover my medications, pay back-due rent and bills, and other expenses while I work to get back on my feet. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help me recover from the financial hardship caused by months of unemployment and move toward becoming financially stable again.
