Growing up, I was lucky enough to have parents who gave me the opportunity to practice any sport I wanted. I always took this for granted. Now that I am older, I realize how fortunate I was. Regular physical activity improves overall health, motor skills and bone development. It also promotes discipline, teamwork and self-esteem and teach important life skills such as perseverance, sportsmanship, and goal setting.
I am planning to complete a 100km on Saturday May 27th. I will be running 50km (25 X 2.5km loop) then rowing another 50km (on a concept 2 rower). I pledge to give $2 per km and CrossFit FYP will do the same, for a total of $400. I also encourage anyone to join me that day for any distance they choose and suggest giving 1$ per km accomplished.
I would be very happy to see few faces on Saturday :)
