Antoinette Tuff's - Kids on the Move for Success


Please join me in making a life-changing difference in the opportunities available to homeless, foster and low-income children.  These students range from Kindergarten to 5th grades.  Please help me create a brighter future and a sense of family for them.

Our organization, Kids on the Move for Success just completed a 2018 - 2019 pilot project for literacy that served over 30 families who needed our help.  Our goal for 2019 - 2020 is to increase the number of families we serve and increase the number of days from one to four days. 

In Georgia alone, there are hundreds of children attending school in these three categories of homeless, foster and low-income communities.  Through our support in mentoring, we can improve the literacy for this population.

Our pilot project discovered that in order to properly serve these students, we need to help them to learn life skills, built their vocabulary and to exposure future occupation in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) so that they can prepare themselves for entering the workforce someday. 
 
After working closely with these students for several years, and being one myself in the past, I know that a stronger vocabulary will powerfully elevate their opportunities.  We know that providing education for parents/guardians is also key. This is why we implemented our Parent Academy to support them.  Many of the parents/guardians lack the background and resources to encourage their children.  Through your financial support you can help us provide these resources to our motivated parents/guardians.
 
With your donations, we will be able to hire two staff to help us increase our impact and take the programming to an additional three days a week (currently at one day a week). Below is an explanation of the costs for this next year. 
  
1.  One Site Manager @ $2,000 monthly or $20,000 annually (10-month school year)
 
2.  One Academic Specialist: $ 960 monthly or $9,600 annually (10-month school year)
 
3.  Social Media Specialist:   $600 monthly or $7,200 annually (12-month year)
 
4.  Social Media Internship:  $150 monthly or $1500 annually (10-month school year)

5.  Program Administrative Fees: $500.00 annually

6.  Supplies for Program:  $500.00 annually
