Welcome to our fundraising website!
Atticus, Pat, Amaru, Lara, and Justin’s fourth grade Destination Imagination (DI) team, It’s Worldwide, placed third in Mexico and have been invited to compete in the Global Finals in Kansas City in May. Although this presents an amazing chance, the registration fee alone amounts to $5500 and does not cover accommodations, meals, or transportation expenses. As a team they are asking friends and family for contributions, regardless of the amount, they are highly valued. Even $5 or $10 helps!!
These kids have been close friends for three years and demonstrate the importance of diversity, camaraderie, inclusion and teamwork in obtaining success!
About Destination Imagination:
Destination Imagination (DI) is a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization. Each year, Destination Imagination collaborates with educators and industry experts to create seven new academic Challenges spanning STEM, the arts, social entrepreneurship, and early learning. Through teamwork, students research, design, and construct solutions to their chosen Challenge. This process fosters creative problem-solving skills, encourages reflection on progress, teaches resilience in the face of failure, and transforms ideas into tangible results. Participants can showcase their solutions at local tournaments, and those who qualify have the opportunity to compete at Global Finals, an international event celebrating student creativity. In Mexico 3 teams from each challenge are invited to participate at the Global Finales.
