Kids In The Canyon (KITC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the academic, social/emotional, and physical development of inner-city students at Central Falls High School. Since 2006, KITC has provided students with countless opportunities to learn critical skills culminating in a once in a lifetime trip to hike through the Grand Canyon.
In order to qualify for the trip, students are responsible for maintaining grades and attendance, exercising regularly, participating in numerous community service events, and so much more! Running a program like KITC costs literally tens of thousands of dollars per year. Expenses include but are not limited to food, travel, insurance, and top of the line gear for each and every student. As a non-profit organization, this program would not exist without the generosity of others. It is through the kindness of others (like you) that these students are able to participate in this transformative experience every year.
We hope that if you are able to, you'll consider making a donation to this wonderful program. With your help, we can continue to build students up through participation in this incredible journey.
