Support Children’s Education in Tanzania

Hey everyone! I am reaching out to ask for your support.

I am currently volunteering in Arusha, Tanzania at Unity Primary school. The classrooms have no lighting or electricity, there are holes and leaks in the ceiling, majority of the kids need to share their stationary, they share one textbook between a whole class (if there even is a textbook) and their desks and chairs are falling apart. Physical exercise, arts and sports are limited due to lack of resources and equipment.

Kind, intelligent and generous are just a few words to start to describe the children here. They are always full of joy and eager to learn despite the lack of resources and unavailability of teachers.

We can make a real difference! There will be no middle man involved. I will personally ensure that every dollar contributed will be invested directly into the purchasing of resources / equipment or funding of repairs. Even $1 will go further than you can imagine and is much appreciated.

Use of funds:

- Stationary and notebooks

- Roof repairs

- New desks/chairs

- Paint jobs

- Educational resources ie textbooks/posters

- Sporting equipment ie skipping ropes, bibs, hula hoops, whistle, cones
