Meet Kenzie. A not so typical 15-year-old girl. She has a passion for reading, a love for color guard and has a heart bigger than anyone you've ever met. If you look at Kenzie, you would never know she was born with multiple birth defects. With the help and support of God, our family and friends we have made it through so much. In the past thirteen years, we have seen thousands of hospital visits, traveled from Washington state to Ohio and New York visiting specialist. She has had several surgeries totally over 50 hours in the OR. We made it through all of these obstacles by the time she was in 5th grade. **Update**
Kenzie has been doing wonderful since her transplant in July of 2017. Unfortunately that is not her happily ever after. Kenzie's complex medical issues are lifelong. She will need multiple medications and lots of medical supplies to keep up with being Kenzie. We also have annual trips to see her surgeon. Thankfully he is no longer in NY but we still must travel to Charleston SC to visit him. The cost of her medical supplies and travel expenses are never ending. We will continue to try and raise money to help differ the cost and make sure Kenzie keeps healthy and happy. Thank you so much for reading our story. Every donation helps and please share our page. Your thoughts and prayers are truly appreciated.
