Kidney Transplant/Med. Expenses

Hi my name is Lynsey, as many of our family and friends know my mom Gris was diagnosed with kidney failure. She started dialysis in February of 2015. Dialysis is used during end-stage kidney failure to replace the functions of the kidneys. It is necessary at this point because her kidneys can no longer function on their own. A normal week for my mom consists of her going to a dialysis center 3 times a week where spends about 4 hours daily. This has not only affected her daily life but she has to miss work and it has caused a loss of wages as well. My mom pays for her own medical insurance but even then it only covers so much of the costs. I hope to raise enough money to help her cover any further medical expenses and eventually towards a kidney transplant. Transplantliving.org estimates the total costs per person for a kidney transplant and everything invloved can add up to $262,900.

Some of the cost include:
-insurance deductibles
-insurance co-pays
-pre-transplant evaluation and testing
-aquisition fee
-fees for the recovery of the organ from the donor
-follow-up care and testing
-additional hospital stays for complications or infections
-fees for surgeons, physicians, radiologist, anesthesiologist and recurrent lab testing
-anti-rejection and other drugs, which can easily exceed $2,500 per month
-rehabilitation
- lodging and travel expenses for the donor and the donor's family. 
- travel and lost wages expenses for caregiver (family) pre/post transplant.

I would like to be able to help my mom the way she's always helped others. She not only is a great mother to my sisters and I but everyone who knows her know of what a great person she is. I am asking for help anything will make difference. No donation is too small.
