Kidney transplant recovery complications

Hi, my name is Susan. I am seeking assistance for my son and daughter in law. Sara donated her Kidney to her husband Kevin on August 29. Surgery was a success. Since Kevin has had complications with a stomach emptying issue called Gastroparesis. It is difficult for him to eat due to near constant nausea followed by vomiting.

Instead of going home in 2 weeks, Kevin needs to remain in Seattle for up to an additional month to regain appetite, ability to keep foods down, and gain back the 28 pounds he has lost in 3 weeks. In addition, Kevin has lost so much muscle mass that walking even short distances is difficult.

They have depleted their savings. Maxed out credit cards. These funds will help them stay for the additional time and focus on healing rather than the stress of making the stay financially possible. This will help find the time away as well as support keeping up with their monthly expenses.
