Kidney Transplant for Yemisi

Six years ago, our mum was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, and just over six months ago, her condition progressed to end-stage renal failure. Her kidneys stopped working completely. It’s been an incredibly surreal and devastating experience to watch such a strong, selfless woman become so helpless.

In May, she was supposed to visit the hospital for a quick check-up before flying to the UK to meet her first grandchild who turned one this November. Unfortunately, that trip never happened. Despite exhausting every possible treatment option, her kidneys haven’t recovered. Now, the only chance to save her life is a kidney transplant. Her doctors have made it clear. We need to act fast, as her health continues to deteriorate.

Our mum is our rock. She’s given us so much, and we want to give back even a fraction of what she’s done for us. She deserves the chance not to only meet her first grandchild but to see all her grandchildren in the future. That’s why we’re reaching out for your help.
