Help Save A Life – Kidney Transplant for Tapiwa Makwangudze

Hello, we as Tapiwa's family are reaching out with a humble request for your help.

Tapiwa - our son, brother, husband & father - was diagnosed with End-Stage Kidney Disease (Stage 5) in October of 2024. Since then, he has been on twice-weekly dialysis, sustained by hope, prayer, and the unwavering support of his loved ones.

Thanks to an incredible act of love, a matching donor from within the family has come forward. The transplant is scheduled to take place at the Apollo Hospital in India, where the procedure is more affordable and accessible.

We are raising a minimum of $25,000 to cover the core costs of the transplant — including surgery, flights, accommodation, and medication.

However, because this journey involves both Tapiwa and a living donor, we are also planning to go beyond this target to ensure:

•the donor’s recovery and wellbeing are fully supported,

•no essential cost is left uncovered.

We are prepared for unexpected medical or travel-related expenses.

So far, we have already raised over $12,000, and we are deeply thankful for every contribution made. Your support will help us close the gap and ensure a safe, dignified journey for him.
