Larry was born with a rare genetic deletion causing Ciliapathy and Chronic Kidney Disease. Larry’s kidney disease progressed quickly and is life threatening, currently in Stage 5- End Stage Renal Failure. On July 25, 2018, he will be receiving a kidney from his I as living donor at CS Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. During this time, both his father and I will be off of work. We are raising money to assist with the cost of travel expenses incurred by living over two hours away, living expenses including our two other children, and medical expenses.
Due to the Ciliapathy, he was also born with Agenesis of the Corpus Collosum, and is currently diagnosed with Autism, a mood disorder and learning disabilities. This has compounded the difficulty on securing treatment for Larry- as he was turned away by a different children’s hospital last year.
Please help support Larry and our family to meet our goal of a healthy new start for our son.
