My name is Rafael Morquecho and I am a 30 year old with Kidney Failure.
In 2017, I found out that my kidneys were no longer functioning and I began dialysis immediately. I have been doing hemodialysis for the last four years - in addition to having a hard toll on my physical health, the process takes four hours three days a week.
In early 2019, I suffered a heart attack and was put into a medically induced coma for two weeks. I was able to get onto the UNOS waiting list for a new kidney because of the deterioration of my health. The process to begin the transplant is incredibly expensive. I am unable to afford the medical expenses associated with this life changing donation and surgery.

Donations will be used to pay medical bills at Loyola University Medical Center, where the transplant will take place.
