Hi all,

My name is Karyn and unfortunately, on March 5, 2023, I ended up in the ER/ICU with what I did not realize was going to be a very serious illness that would progress exponentially. It started with Jaundice, which has thought to have been acquired by a serious staph infection that started in my legs. These infections formed together into full on liver failure (and at 26 years old, is not a good thing).

More quickly than one could anticipate, it was made aware to me that I was no longer on any form of insurance, and had to apply for NJ FamilyCare / Medicaid to attempt to pay for this hospital stay, which I still have not yet received approval for.

If you are able to provide any assistance whatsoever, please consider donating towards the cost of my medical bills. At the time of editing this post, I've reached 5 weeks so far in the hospital with no insurance. I've also attached an Amazon wish list for those who feel more comfortable donating in place of gifts that can be used (purposes explained in comments). No matter if it is $10.00 or $200,000.00, anything will be helpful to any and all bills I have (financial, personal etc).
