Kidney Kindness for Casey
Donation protected
On June 10, 2022, Casey Forbis was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure. It was a complete shock! Within the past two weeks, Casey's kidney function has decreased drastically and he began hemodialysis yesterday.
Patients getting hemodialysis usually need treatments three times a week. Each treatment takes around four hours. This means, of course, Casey cannot be working at this time. Losing his income is a contributor to this financial burden (estimated to be $100K).
Chrystal is strategically preparing specific foods for him that meet the restrictions necessary for renal support. She is juggling a full-time managerial role at her job and driving him to the dialysis appointments, doctor visits, etc. Their family is very supportive and helpful, but the financial burden with medical bills is mounting rapidly.
Chrystal & Casey are in the process of looking for a living donor. Casey has also been added to the kidney transplant list.
We believe that God can still heal Casey. We know without a doubt that God has everything under control and has a plan. First and foremost, we request your prayers of healing, grace, and comfort for Casey and their sweet family. And we humbly request your financial support during this uncertain time in his health journey.
All funds will be used to pay off medical bills (out-of-pocket expenses, specialists, etc). Raising these funds would be a small fraction of help, and we sincerely thank you and pray many blessings upon you!
