Kidney for Igor Gelic

Igor Gelic is a 30 year old who my wife went to elementary school with in Zvornik, Bosnia and Herzegovina.  Last December Igor was at work and felt very ill. He was transported to the Emergency Department at the local Hospital and diagnosed with two failed kidneys. None of his immediate family members are eligible donors. Nearby Serbia and nearby Montenegro do no have any kidneys. The only solution is for him to have two kidneys transplanted in Italy. Italy is the only country that offer transplants to patients who are non European Union citizens. The procedure costs 65000 Euros and his family does not have monnies. His life is on the line.
