Let's keep Greg in the picture.
We're doing an $800,000 fundraiser for a "kidney for Greg Smith", husband, and father of 8. (Changed to $100,000 Dec 10, 2022 for the time being, due to more insurance coverage than previously planned on.)
Greg Smith and Anita Crookston Smith had a pretty big interruption in their family life in August 2022 when Greg was sent to the ER for emergency surgery and to begin dialysis, after the Dr told Greg, "It's hard to know how long you might have left to live if you don't begin dialysis as soon as possible. You're a young man still with lots of kids, and if you can get a kidney transplant, you could have another 30 years left to live." Over the next few months, Greg had 5 surgeries while also trying to balance a full time job, family time, and four hour dialysis visits 3 nights a week. It's been a lot to deal with physically, emotionally, and mentally. Greg said, "I see my children and want to live. I want to live to see my kids grow up." Greg is a tenderhearted, gentle giant. We are raising money to pay for a kidney transplant for Greg, so his friends, family and children can have Greg around for a long time to come. Thank you for helping us to raise $800,000!
