Kidney for Gary
Donation protected
This is Sophonie Moncher many people close to him know him as "Gary Gbone the cable guy" A loving husband and devoted father to four beautiful children. At the young age of 35 he went into kidney failure, his fight to recovery started in 2013. For the past 6 years Gary has been in dialysis, although dialysis is not a cure for kidney failure, it can help you live longer and give you a better quality of life. Gary received dialysis through his Arteriovenous fistula, which is basically a connection made from the artery to a vein in his arm. This fistula is used to filter wastes and water from your blood, as your kidneys did when they were healthy. Through out his fight Gary stayed strong and hopeful for a donor.
Gary’s will to provide for his family never weakened, and even on his weakest days he made sure his family was well taken care of. Through the years Gary has been hospitalized many times for infections due to his weakened immune system. Even in his sickest moments his prideful nature stood strong and he never asked for help. However recent events have left him broken and feeling defeated. His AV fistula is compromised due to long term use and now he has a dialysis port in his neck. He is also fighting a bacterial pneumonia while this happening. He has been feeling defeated and hopeless. His family and friends decided to create this go fund me because of the urgency of help needed due to his current condition. Gary is a hard working, determined man, we urge you to help him fight. Whether you may be a kidney donor or willing to help financially so his family stays a float it will be greatly appreciated. Any help is great help. To those who may know a kidney donor his blood type is O Positive. Gary is fighting bravely for his life and is determined to live for his family, but he needs your help. Please let’s join together and help Gary through this tough time. Anyone who is interested in learning more about becoming a live donor.
