Hi everyone,
If you know me even a little bit, you know my life revolves around my dogs. They are my touchstones, as I'm sure your pets are for you.
Clementine came into my life August of 2018. I was depressed, lonely, and saw very little point to my life. This dog, my angel, not only saved me during my depression, but also physically saved me from being assaulted on the street. She attacked a white male who repeatedly called me “diseased bitch” while punching me in the face during the outbreak of COVID 19 in Los Angeles. She saved my life. I would not be here if not for her.
Unfortunately, Clemmy has developed a complication from a flareup of Lyme disease. It's unknown whether she contracted it recently. I have no history of her life before I found her. The treatment and management of the disease, which has affected her kidneys, is taking its toll on my funds. I am planning on returning to school in the fall to pursue an advanced degree, and we could really use a little bit of help.
Of course, even if nobody donates, please rest assured Clementine will receive the absolute best care no matter the cost to me. She is irreplaceable.
100% of donations will go towards Clemmy's treatment and maintenance. My goal is $2,000 to roughly cover the last month and as far into the future as possible. If there are any leftover donations, they will be sent to the SPCA of Upstate New York.
Thank you for reading, and please share if you're able.
We love you,
Sarabell and Clementine xx
