Kidist Mariam Orthodox Church

Unfortunately on the afternoon of Sunday, August 27 tragedy struck Kidist Mariam Eritrean Orthodox Church. Following the weekly service while everyone was downstairs eating lunch and reflecting on the worship, a big fire errupted inside the church in the sanctuary. Immediately after the fire was spotted many men springed into action to try and save the church using fire extinguishers. They were able to hold off the fire, but it was too immense and the Fire Department was notified. Although they did a great job in putting the fire out, our church has been destroyed from the inside. The sanctuary is completely ruined. With this we humbly ask for any donations of any amount in order to repair and restore our church back to normal.
