Kid Trying to Help His Dad who just had surgery

My name is Zinge Edwards I’m the older brother of FAvian Valaud and this go fund me was to help my father Thomas Edwards help pay rent and bills while he recovers from hernia surgery

So today while at SAM’S a woman By the Name of Alexandrea met Favian Valaud, a Desoto high school football player he was in the parking lot helping people with their things. When she saw him she called him over to give him $20. He said no ma’am I don’t want your money unless you let me help you. She then asked why was he trying to get money. He said his dad was unable to buy him school clothes or supplies because he recently had surgery, wasn’t working and his mom wasn’t in the picture, so he was trying to do it himself. So she told him she would take him and get him school clothes and shoes. He couldn’t believe it.

She told him when her sister came back they would leave. He said well can he still help others while they wait. 5mins later I see 2 other ladies getting his number. She jumped out the car and asked one of them why were they exchanging numbers. The lady replied” I just see something in that kid.” They both realized it was something special about him. He then hands Alexandrea his phone to talk to his dad so she could ask him if it was ok.

The young man was so kind and respectful.

While they were shopping the young man started crying. He said he had never experienced someone acting like a mom to him and taking him to get things for himself. He said things like this don’t happen to him.

She told him this morning when you woke up you never knew Gods plan for your day! Blessings come in many forms. He replied “Amen.” In Spanish! His speaks fluent Spanish!
