Kid Guitar Statue

Kid Guitar was a legendary figure in Modesto, known for his daily busking and his deep passion for music and our community. In honor of his enduring legacy, Chris Murphy and Chris Ricci have joined forces with a heartfelt idea: creating a lasting memorial dedicated to Kid Guitar, to be situated near one of his beloved busking spots.

To bring this project to fruition, we've partnered with the Modesto Area Music Association Inc., the same organization responsible for annually presenting the Modesto Area Music Awards at no cost to the community. We kindly ask for your generous contribution, which will have a profound impact on Modesto and will ensure that Kid Guitar's memory lives on.
