Carry the Torch—Help Launch the Likoudis Legacy Foundation
Tax deductible
A registered 501(c)(3) advancing ecumenical unity, religious liberty, and human dignity in the spirit of James Likoudis
Dear friend in Christ,
James Likoudis spent seventy years defending orthodox Catholic faith, championing Vatican II, and building bridges among Christians East and West. When he died on 3 September 2024, aged 95, he left behind ten books, more than 300 scholarly essays, and a living witness that the Gospel can heal division, protect the persecuted, and uphold every person’s dignity.
Unless we act now, much of that legacy could fade from view just when the Church—and the world—need it most. That is why we founded the Likoudis Legacy Foundation and why we are seeking $20,000 in seed support to launch our first projects.
Our Three-Fold Mission:
Foster Ecumenical Unity – Build bridges across diverse Christian traditions so Christ’s prayer “that they may all be one” moves closer to reality.
Advance Religious Liberty – Champion the rights of communities where the Christian faith is threatened, providing research, advocacy, and strategic aid.
Uphold Human Dignity & Peace – Promote principles that foster understanding, respect, and global harmony, and support humanitarian initiatives that put faith into action.
