Kick start the filming of BORN ON DEATH ROW
We’re asking for your support to kick start professional filming for our animal testing documentary 'Born On Death Row ', a hard-hitting film uncovering the controversial and secretive world of animal testing.
It looks through the eyes of the beagle puppies who have lived it, and those fighting to end it.
CONFIRMED INTERVIEWS
In September 2025 we have important confirmed interviews booked in the US with:
- Music legend Moby
- Beagle Freedom Project founder Shannon Keith
Plus
- Guardians of a laboratory survivor beagle
- Ex laboratory workers
- Leaders in animal-free science
We have paid for our flights ourselves, and Beagle Freedom Project are very generously providing accommodation. Now we need your help to fund the crew.
Broadcast Quality Production
To reach a mainstream audience through major release platforms we need to meet broadcast-quality production standards. That’s why we’re bringing in a professional crew to shoot this segment, starting with Andria Chamberlin, an internationally experienced cinematographer and guardian to a lab survivor beagle herself.
HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED
Your donations will go directly to production crew costs, including:
- Cinematographer fees
- Professional sound recordist
- Equipment hire
We are not paying ourselves — all funds go towards filming and delivering this part of the documentary at a professional standard.
Funds will be managed through BODRdoc CIC, a UK registered not-for-profit Community Interest Company subject to public accounting and reporting requirements.
WHY WE'RE STARTING IN THE US
Although we’re a UK-based team — and the UK has a strong reputation for animal rights activism and animal compassion - we’re beginning this story in the US, where real momentum is building for systemic change.
- The FDA Modernization Act recently ended the legal requirement for animal testing before human trials — a seismic shift.
- New state-level laws now mandate the rehoming of lab animals instead of euthanasia.
- There’s growing investment in animal-free methods, with scientists, lawmakers, and campaign groups working together in ways that offer real hope.
This is where change is stirring, and where this part of the story must begin.
WHY IT MATTERS
This film is about truth, transparency, and the ethical reckoning long overdue in animal testing.
Our goal is to provide a clear international picture of this dark and controversial practice, and to call for an urgent switch to animal-free testing.
Please donate what you can and share this campaign.
These animals don't have time for a 'government phase out' of 20 or 30 years - if we can even believe that.
Thank you.
