This is Marisa Villagomez, she is my best friend. She was also recently diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. Unfortunately this means leave from work. Her husband Pancho, is now acting as sole breadwinner at home.

She's a mother of 4 who has taken care of her disabled parents since I've known her....and now is struggling to get off a couch herself. She's not one to ask for help or *have needs* of her own, but I think we can all agree the big C counts. Let's take care of the caregiver!

Not to reiterate the point, but I need you guys to know....I'm chronically ill and she dug me out of my basement. She and her family helped move my mother. She is genuinely one of the most caring people I know. Hopefully we can help make recovery easier on her.
