Annette Costa is battling MS, Multiple Sclerosis. A disease that effects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. It can cause blindness, muscle detoriation and neurological problems and much more. Annette was born in Ohio and now lives in South Florida and is a personal trainer at her gym, Extreme Fitness. Her motto has always been "Train Hard or Go Home" and she has stood for this her entire life. She is a fighter. She has always been committed to helping others fight their own battles and now she needs us to help her fight! She is a dedicated trainer, a friend, a mom, a daughter, and humble. She didn's ask us to write this and she didn't ask for MS. (But we are doing this anyway.). Unfortunately, this is a battle she has been fighting for for the past three years but went undiagnosed for many years prior. Even though she has MS it doesn't have her, she does all the right things, she uses oils, drinks, therapies, acupuncture, anything to ease her pain. At this point in her journey her equilibrium is effected, she is loosing her balance often. With this disease ther are great medications out there, but with Annette, things are changing quickly and a Service Dog would really change her life and spirits. A service dog will give her have the confidence that will hold her up, physically and literally. Overall this dog will be a companion and a sense of security that she is missing. Please find it in your hearts to give her what we all take for granted at times, just walking to the bathroom and not falling down, going to the mailbox and having the stability to making it back safely. We are hoping to raise more than our goal so she can feed her dog and not worry about any additional expenses that will come. Annette is still training, staying positive and really taking things one day at a time. Let's help her in her fight! Kicking MS's Butt One Paw At A Time!
