Kaitlyn K, my daughter, fighting cervical cancer

Just after Christmas , we found out our daughter, Kaitlyn Kelly , will have the fight of her life! She has stage N1 cervical cancer that is very aggressive . She has started her treatments of 25 radiation sessions,  5 chemotherapy sessions and 2 brachytherapy surgery’s.  Fortunately most of her treatments are close to her home, at the Grand River Cancer Centre. The 2 surgery’s will be in London at the Victoria Hospital Cancer Centre. The cost of actual Radiation and Chemotherapy as well as the 2 surgerys are covered by Ohip but unfortunatley the added medication,  to help her get through these days, isn't covered.  Kaitlyn isn’t able to work.  Both  dad and I have taken time off work to make sure she gets to all of  her tests,  consultations,  doctor appointments and her treatments.  She has a great positive  attitude and is fighting this strong but it is draining her more and more each day. Kaitlyn has a great support system of family and friends.. thanks to all of you!
