Support Balls and Books Foundation – Empowering Young Footballers Through Education
My name is Samson, and I live in Area 25, Lilongwe, Malawi. I have always loved football, and over the past months, I have been working closely with young boys in my community who share the same passion for the game. These children have incredible talent, dedication, and a dream of becoming professional footballers one day.
But as much as football is their passion, I also believe that education must go hand in hand with their talent. Unfortunately, many of these boys face tough challenges—most come from struggling families, lacking not only football equipment like boots, balls, and jerseys, but also basic school supplies such as books, pens, and uniforms.
This is why I started the Balls and Books Foundation: to give these kids the chance to chase their football dreams while staying in school. Our goal is simple yet powerful—equip them with what they need to play the sport they love and provide them with the essentials to continue their education.
How Your Support Helps
$20 provides a child with notebooks, pens, and pencils for a school term.
$40 buys a pair of football boots for a young player.
$60 equips a child with both football gear and school supplies.
$100 helps us organize a community training session with proper balls, cones, and jerseys.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference. By supporting this initiative, you are not only keeping a child’s dream of football alive but also ensuring they have the tools to build a brighter future through education.
Together, we can turn Balls and Books into a movement that transforms lives, one child, one ball, and one book at a time.
We humbly ask for your support. These boys deserve both the chance to play and the opportunity to learn.
Thank you for believing in them, and thank you for standing with us.
