Kirk Essenpreis is a beloved member of the Highland Community. Kirk is a 1982 graduate of Highland High School where he was also known as Moose wearing the number 62 on Friday nights as a member of the football team. Kirk spent the early part of his career in the U.S. Army before returning to Highland to work as a member of the high school maintenance team during the day and driving in demolition derbies by night.

Recently Kirk was diagnosed with lung cancer. He will begin chemotherapy and radiation within the month of September. In the words of Kirk, "I'm going to fight this thing!" Please help us fight with Kirk!
